AISVN Together (AIST)
Parent community work together for the wayout of AISVN

AISVN may be lost,

but the future of our students

cannot be left behind.

ABOUT AIST
A Parent-led Initiative for the Future of AISVN

AISVN Together (AIST) is an initiative launched by the AISVN parent community itself, with the primary goal of finding a practical solution to save the school and protect the rights of both parents and students.

AIST is built on a non-profit social enterprise model, operating solely for the collective interest of the parent community and the educational future of all AISVN students.

Our core belief:
When the parent community is united and organized, we can amplify our voice to effectively protect our legitimate rights and interests.

Why was AIST born?

For many years, numerous parents have paid substantial sums to AISVN through long-term tuition programs.

When the financial crisis hit, the parent community was left in a precarious position:

  • A lack of transparency regarding information

  • No representative organization to speak for them

  • No negotiating power, especially with the school owner and investors

Furthermore, under corporate bankruptcy laws, parents are classified as unsecured creditors, placing them at a high risk of losing their entire investment.

Faced with this reality, AIST was formed as a representative body for the parent community, aiming to establish a new proactive path forward rather than remaining passive.

The Mission of AIST

AIST was established with three core objectives:

Protecting Parents' Rights and Interests

AIST unifies the voices of parents to participate in the negotiation and restructuring process, providing parents with a viable opportunity to recover their invested value.

Preserving the Students' Learning Environment

Our paramount goal is to maintain a stable, high-quality educational environment for all AISVN students.

Acting as a Bridge between Investors and Regulatory Authorities

AIST serves as a vital link between parents, investors, the school owner, and state management agencies to facilitate a sustainable and long-term solution.

How does AIST operate?

AIST operates based on the principles of transparency and formal organization.

Through AIST, the parent community can:

  • Gather and record all outstanding debts and financial obligations related to parents.

  • Directly contribute to the development of the school’s reorganization and restructuring plans.

  • Act as the representative body in discussions with investors and all relevant stakeholders.

  • Supervise and monitor the school’s operations following its recovery.

The most crucial element is establishing an official representative focal point for the parent community.

The Core Principles of AIST
Non-profit

AIST operates under a social enterprise model. All resources and surpluses (if any) are dedicated to serving the parent community and enhancing educational quality.

Transparency

All financial activities and key decisions are clearly disclosed to the participating parent community.

Community Consensus

Important decisions are made based on the consensus of the majority of participating parents.

What AIST is not:

AIST is not a for-profit business: We do not operate for financial gain.

AIST is not a replacement for State authorities: We do not assume the role of regulatory bodies. Instead, we act as the representative voice of the parent community to propose and advocate for legal solutions.

AIST is not a guarantee of financial outcomes: We cannot guarantee specific financial returns; however, we do commit to absolute transparency and our maximum effort to protect the rights of all parents.

The Journey of AIST

The idea of establishing a representative organization for AISVN parents was proposed in 2023, as the school's crisis began to unfold.

After extensive discussions and preparations, a group of parents contributed their initial resources to establish AIST as a social enterprise legal entity. The goal was to build a transparent organization with a clear governance structure, capable of engaging professionally with all relevant stakeholders.

This is an entirely voluntary effort by the parent community to forge a new path forward for AISVN.

AIST Needs Community Participation

AIST can only succeed with the active involvement of the parent community.

The more parents participate:

  • The stronger our collective voice becomes

  • The higher our negotiating power grows

  • The greater and faster the chances of the school’s recovery

We belive:

Unity is the greatest strength of the AISVN parent community.

Rebuilding Trust Together

AISVN is more than just a school.

It is a place deeply connected to our children's childhoods and a place where many families have placed their full trust in education.

AIST was founded with the hope that, through unity and transparency, we can together find a path to protect those precious values.
