“No arguments – I choose action” A parent quietly submits her petition... and a powerful message to the community

While many are still debating, analyzing, or feeling overwhelmed by the flood of information, some have chosen a different path – silent action. One parent in the AISVN community, despite already being part of AIST, took it upon herself to prepare and submit a petition to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Her petition calls for the protection of students' rights under the 2023 Law on Consumer Rights Protection. No noise. No rallying. No arguments. Just action.

A Small Action – But A Massive Value

We see this as more than just a petition.

It is:

  • A commendable act of initiative.

  • A spirit that refuses to wait for others to act

  • A choice to engage directly with the formal legal system

AIST wishes to express our deepest respect and admiration for you—not because you did something "monumental," but because you did exactly what matters most:

👉 Turning concern into concrete action

AIST’S PERSPECTIVE – Unchanging

From the very beginning, AIST has been clear:

Whatever is best, legal, and possible to protect the rights of our parent community—must be done immediately.

  • Don't wait for a crowd.

  • Don't wait for perfection.

  • Don't wait for "someone else to step up".

AIST’S action plan for the coming week

Driven by that spirit, AIST is officially launching the next steps in a systematic – synchronized – and legally sound manner:

1. Submit an Official Petition to the HCMC Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee

  • As: AIST Non-profit Social Enterprise (Legal Entity).

  • Content:

    • Requesting a review of the mediation role and the protection of educational consumer rights

    • Proposing support in connecting relevant stakeholders

    • Suggesting a transparent monitoring mechanism for the AISVN resolution process

2. Submit a Second Petition to the HCMC Department of Education and Training

  • Separate submission - Avoid combining with other agencies

  • Key focus:

    • The rights of students currently affected

    • Addressing state management responsibilities in the current situation

    • Proposing emergency support plans

3. Submit a Second Petition to the HCMC People’s Committee

  • Following the same principle: Separate submission – clear responsibility – specific content

  • Key focus:

    • Social impact of the case

    • The scale of financial loss for parents (trillions of VND)

    • Proposing a city-level intervention mechanism

4. Engaging with Mainstream Media

AIST will proactively:

  • Contact the 3 reputable and official press agencies.

  • Prepare:

    • Legal dossiers

    • Transparent data

    • Real-life stories from parents

Objective:
👉 To bring the matter to light with accuracy, verification, and responsibility

A crystal clear message

An individual can act. But an organization – if operated correctly – can create a greater, faster, and more sustainable impact.

AIST does not replace parents.
AIST does not represent you without authorization.

But AIST can:

Consolidate – Standardize – and Amplify individual actions into collective strength

Call to action

We call upon all parents:

Do not just read – please participate

Join and accompany AIST’s 3 specialized boards:

  • Legal Board – Building a solid legal foundation

  • Negotiation Board – Working directly with relevant stakeholders

  • Communication Board – Spreading the truth and protecting the facts

(Detailed functions and duties of each board are available on the Documents page of this website or can be downloaded via the link below):

One mother chose not to argue – but to act.

AIST chooses to:
👉 Systematize that action – so that no one has to walk alone.

This is no longer just one person's story.
This is a responsibility – and an opportunity – for us to act correctly, act fully, and act until the very end.
